How Global Escape Travel Began

Planning a vacation should feel exciting. Too often, it feels overwhelming.

Over the years, Donna and Dee Alexander found themselves helping friends and family plan trips almost every week. What started as the occasional travel question quickly turned into late-night phone calls, text messages, and conversations about destinations, cruises, resorts, flights, and how to put all the pieces together.

We noticed something interesting. Most people already knew they wanted to travel. They dreamed about the destination, the experiences, and the memories they hoped to create. But when it came time to actually plan the trip, many felt overwhelmed. Endless online reviews, conflicting advice, complicated logistics, and uncertainty about where to start often turned excitement into frustration.

The more we helped, the more we realized that many travelers were facing the same challenges. That’s what inspired us to create Global Escape Travel, LLC.

Our Approach to Travel Planning

We founded Global Escape Travel, LLC. in 2018 with a simple goal: to help travelers move from uncertainty to confidence. We believe great vacations don’t happen by accident. They happen through thoughtful planning, expert guidance, and a clear understanding of what matters most to the traveler.

Since then, we’ve helped more than 350 travelers explore 24+ countries throughout the Caribbean, Europe, and beyond. But what matters most to us isn’t the number of trips we’ve planned. It’s how our clients feel throughout the process—supported, informed, confident, and excited about the journey ahead.

Travel has always been important to us because of the memories it creates.
