Five Reasons to Choose London as Your Next Travel Destination
London is a charming city with many attractions and historic sites which are beautiful to behold. Often, people forget about Lo
ndon as a travel destination because it is in a foreign country and airfare can be a little pricey at times. However, airfare to London is not much more expensive than the cost of a plane trip to Las Vegas from the East Coast of the United States of America. So, why not travel to London instead of New York or Vegas on your next adventure. Here are five reasons why I think London is a great place to visit on your next trip.
Why is London a Good Tourist Destination
England is an English speaking country. I know that is a blinding flash of the obvious, but it makes planning your trip to London much easier especially if you are attempting to make airport transfer arrangement from the airport to your hotel of choice. It is always nice to visit the hotel’s website, and if you have any questions, you can call the hotel directly. Also, many cellular carriers provide coverage in London at no additional cost or a small additional fee. Now, there are some subtle differences in the language, but it is nothing that can not be mastered. If you would like to brush up on terms quickly, please visit

Many US Airports Offer Non-Stop Flights to London on a Daily Basis
By just doing a basic Google search, I discovered that there are over 150 daily non-stop flights to London from many major cities in the USA. So, there are plenty of options to fly from the US to London without the hassle of changing planes multiple times. So, as far as the easy of transportation is concerned, it gets no easier than this. If your flight from one of these airports, you don’t have to worry about claiming your bags and going through another customs check.
London Has One of the World’s Best Transportation Systems
London has one of the most extensive public transport networks in the world, with the integrated bus, underground/”the tube,” river and road systems spanning the city’s 32 boroughs. I believe all of these systems use a single “swipe care” or Oyster Card to make payment very easy. The Kiosk in the transportation centers accepts US credit cards, so the transaction is painless. While I was in London, I used the google maps application on my phone to get around (please check with your cellular provider to understand data rates). I found that the app was more accurate and precise in London that it was for me in New York City. Plus, the trains and buses operate with a much greater frequency that you will find in major US cities. So, getting around London is very easy. If you are less adventuresome, you can always take the Taxi. If your travel requirements require you to travel outside of London to another major city, then you will find that the country has bullet trains that connect major cities as well.

The historic city of London has many historical icons that will have you snapping pictures until your camera runs out of batteries.
